  • Payment information: Processed securely by Dodo Payments. We store transaction IDs and purchase history but never your card details.
  • Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, and language preferences for security and locale detection.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide neighborhood scores, insights, and reports you request.
  • To personalize your experience based on your onboarding preferences.
  • To process purchases and send transaction confirmations.
  • To send essential account emails (verification, password reset, purchase receipts).
  • To improve our scoring methodology and data quality.
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not store credit card or bank account details.
  • We do not track your precise GPS location without your explicit consent.
  • We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers, brokers, or developers.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with the following third parties, and only as necessary to operate our service:

  • Dodo Payments: For processing payments securely.
  • Vercel: For hosting and serving the application.
  • Sentry: For error monitoring (no personal data is sent, only technical error details).
  • Data analysis providers: For generating neighborhood analysis. No personal user data is shared — only area names and public data.

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. Purchased reports remain accessible permanently. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at privacy@localeiq.io.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session management) and preference storage. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Third-party analytics (Vercel Analytics) may set minimal cookies for aggregate usage statistics.

7. Your Rights

  • Request deletion of your account and data.
